.1195 “Pattern and Process,” at The Krannert Art Museum 2023

My work, “Solemn Vow” 2015, pictured above– is included in this exhibition currently on view at The Krannert Art Museum at The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I’m thrilled to be in such great company!

dear Miriam, thank you! Yes, this is the suit my grandmother wore. And though I had used old saved fabric and clothing before, after making this piece, those materials-particularly the clothing– have become my primary medium.

    Dear Betsy,

This is fantastic! The concept, the piece, the fact that you’re in this exhibition. Is the work the de-constructed wedding dress?

So thrilled for you. And yes, you are in fantastic company. As are the other artists, because their work is with yours.

Congratulations dear Betsy! Such wonderful news!

    Love,

    Miriam
